Welcome to Culture California!
The California Cultural Tourism Coalition (CCTC) would like to immerse you in a celebration of California's arts and heritage. Adding depth and dimension to your vacation while absorbing the contributions of the arts in California, the CCTC would like to present the Culture California website. Focusing on the many cultural destinations that make up the State’s rich tapestry of diversity, our goal is to expand the awareness of the many travel opportunities available in California celebrating arts and heritage.

CCTC consists of California Tourism; the California Arts Council; California State Parks; the Convention and Visitors Bureaus of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Diego; the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission; the San Diego Commission for Arts & Culture; San Francisco Grants for the Arts and the Los Angeles County Arts Commission.
California State Parks is the State's primary custodian of California's cultural heritage. Within its system, there are 47 historic parks and monuments and 63 museums and visitors centers. Together, the system preserves over 4.5 million Californian artifacts. More importantly, the traditions of all Californians are remembered and shared through daily re-enactments and special heritage events.
The California Arts Council offers a broad spectrum of programs that support and nurture the arts and creativity in California, including the music, dance, theatre, film, mixed media, multicultural, and folk arts disciplines; arts in education, public art; and artists-in-residencies in schools and communities.
